New life

The studio was approached by international investors seeking a captivating concept for a multi-unit project in North Beach, located just below Surfside, merely a block away from the mesmerizing beach. This vibrant stretch along Harding and Collins Avenue has attracted the attention of local and international groups, who have introduced a myriad of innovative ideas, ranging from luxurious high-rises lining the shore to trendy projects across Collins and along Harding Avenue.

Given the constraints of a petite lot measuring only 5,500 square feet, we were compelled to unleash our creativity in order to maximize the potential of this valuable land. Despite the numerous challenges we faced, we managed to ingeniously accommodate five boutique units: two single-level dwellings on the ground floor and three two-story residences on the second level. Each unit boasts its own independent entrance, conveniently accessible at street level.

These remarkable units are characterized by their generous proportions, featuring spacious open-concept living areas, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a den. Additionally, each unit offers a private patio that bathes in natural light streaming through expansive windows oriented in various directions.
